Pancakes, parades, and pyrotechnics!

We started with the Fourth of July Breakfast at our church building with the bishopric in charge of breakfast, yummy pancakes!

 The activity days girls and cub scouts were in charge of planning the bike parade, so I helped them set up and start the parade. Paul decorated his bike with balloons, flags, and crepe paper.  It reminded me of our around the block parades in Orem.  Gold old carefree summers!

We ate and swam at Lucy's house, and had so much fun we didn't take any pictures.

 We watched the fireworks on a grassy hill by the mall with Lucy, Carl, Peggy, Wes, Cara, and Matt.

Rocio invited us to go to a Rangers game with them, it was so fun!

Summer BBQ

We were blessed with an abnormally cool day today, so we celebrate by roasting hamburgers and chicken nuggets and eating on our back porch on our lovely table from my parents.

 Besides the raised chance of West Nile Virus by the number of mosquito bites I recieved, it was a fun night!

*Also, this may appear to be just a nice photo - but it's monumental to me.  It's the first picture in years that both Jared and Paul are smiling and looking at the camera and neither one is blurry.
