Paul-isms

I should be in bed, but I wanted to make sure I got these recorded somewhere so I don't forget them.

He walked in while I was walking on the treadmill, and said "That looks like a...a...a.. conveyor belt!"

He has recently decided it goes, "Scritures, Preeyar, and Flamly Tickle Time!" before bed time.

He went to the bathroom at the library where there are automatically flushing toilets.  I explained there were "automatic" which means they go all by their selves.  The next bathroom we walked into he said, "Are these potties amazing?"

He walks into a bathroom and immediately asks, "Does it plush itself?"

While we were camping a couple of weeks ago, he said "Dad, is the fire stluggling?" when Jared was starting it the next morning.

Same camping trip that we went on semi spur of the moment, and did not take all the proper supplies, meant that he was eating noodle soup out of a disposable bread pan. "I eating like a pig mommmy!"

**P.S. Here is another one we were giggling about today.
Paul saw cinnamon sticks (which I use a lot of in the winter for apple cider) on my gum package, he was telling Jared, "That sticks is for yummy hot drinks, dad."

I'm sure there are more, but that's all for now folks!

Who's in charge?

Saturday after we got home from the zoo, I decided it was time to get serious about getting our plane tickets for the fourth of July.  We are planning on going to Utah and having a reunion with Jared's side of the family then, and I knew we had enough miles to get at least two tickets.  I found the perfect flight, and was ready to book it. When I went to check and make sure that we could get both tickets, neither the departure nor return flight was there, at all.  So I got on the phone with continental, and after being on hold for 16 minutes and 45 seconds, someone finally answered.  She placed me on hold to ask someone else a question, where I remained for another 7 minutes and 23 seconds, then came back and ultimately the answer was no.  There was only one ticket available for that flight.  Sad, and trying to think of how else we could do it, I went to bed.

Sunday we decided to go to Utah for General Conference weekend and my mom's birthday.  Tonight I sat down, found the flights, booked them with no problem, was able to find a flight for Jared that works perfectly with his work schedule, and viola. Done and Done.

I really shouldn't try to question and fight, because I'm obviously not in charge.
